General Manager
Job Description
Our client, a leading Food Service organisation is currently inviting suitably candidate to join for the role of a General Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible and accountable for day to day operations and development of the business activities and operations.
• Provide leadership and develop strategy and business plan aligned with company’s strategic transformation.
• Oversee cost management programs, including annual budget development, monthly P/L review and cost analysis.
• Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships with customers, government, trade associations etc.
• Develop strategies to improve and uphold standards of excellence and service quality.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions to ensuring sustainability, profitability and meeting business objectives.
• Mentor and interact with staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among them.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Min. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant senior management expertise in F&B, Foodservice industry.
• Good management skills around revenue, budgets, people skills, customer service skills, fixing operational problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to develop short and long-range project planning and effectively communicate strategy plans to achieve company’s goal and objectives.
• Idealistic and can influence and motivate key stakeholders to buy in.
• Has understanding of the bigger picture of the organisation and can interpret the customers need and translate them to new business opportunities that serve the market. Has the entrepreneurial mindset to leverage the scale of the organisation while competing locally
• Has superior industry insights and build on local knowledge and good track record of achievements
